(3-13-26) The Midwest Athletic Conference adds another state championship to its trophy case….as St. Henry wins its first ever girls state basketball title. The Redskins knocked off Canton Central Catholic 53-34 to win the D VI title. The Redskins led after quarter and led by as many as 29 points early in the 4th quarter.

Five Redskins scored in double figures…Alexis Buschur and Addy Homan both had 22 points, Karlee Buschur had 19 points, Olivia Gast and Ava Homan both had 16 points.

Starter Molly Wendel, who suffered a serious injury in the semifinal game last night, was not able to play tonight.
