(3-15-26) Yesterday Marion Local (25-1) knocked off undefeated Tri-Village 57-43 in the D IV Regional Final, up next will be Lincolnview.

Marion Local will meet Lincolnview in the DIV. VI State Semifinal on Friday, March 20th at the Nutter Center.

The Flyers only loss this season comes to Midwest Athletic Conference rival and D VII State Finalist Delphos St. John’s 66-36.

The Flyers will play Lincolnview (22-5) in the D VI State Semifinal game after knocking of Colonel Crawford 58-45 in the Regional Final.

Lincolnview stuns Colonel Crawford to win regional title

The Flyers (25-1) have won 15 straight and will play the Northwest Conference’s Lincolnview (22-5) in the state semifinals at 8 p.m. Friday at the Nutter Center.

The winner will advance to the State championship game scheduled for 7:30 pm Saturday at UD Arena.

Jaguars’ Coach Brett Norris, who played during his high school days at both Versailles and Crestview, has built a program at Bradley that’s had consistency since he arrived before the 2014-15 season after 10 years at Delphos St. John’s (2002 D IV State Champions, plus 1998 and 2001 D IV state runner-up) and another six at Hilliard Darby.

The Jaguars hadn’t finished above .500 in their first five years of existence before Norris’ arrival. Since then, they’ve won five league championships and three district titles, making it as far as the regional final round in 2018 and 2020. The latter was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

State Tournament Schedule
Division I

Semifinals on Saturday, March 21 at Wright State beginning at 5:30 p.m. Princeton vs St.Edward at 7:30 p.m. Hilliard Bradley vs Pickerington Central

Championship on Sunday, March 22 at UD Arena at 3:15 pm.
