(3-26-26) Two players from Class 3A state champion Bellmont, two players from Homestead plus one player from 20 other schools have been named to the rosters for the 2026 IndyStar girls’ All-Star “Futures Game,” games director Mike Broughton announced Thursday (March 26).

The Futures Games, one each for boys and girls, are a fourth-year part of the Indiana All-Star basketball program. The Futures Games will pair teams of current Indiana freshmen and sophomores in a North-South format. The fourth annual Futures Games doubleheader will be Monday, June 1 at a site to be determined. The girls’ game is set for 6:00 p.m. EDT, and the boys’ game will follow about 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Perego, Noll and The Blekes

Sophomores Ashley Bleke and Marianne Bleke of Bellmont as well as sophomores Delaney Noll and Suzy Perego of Homestead are among 12 players selected to the North Team for the 2026 Futures Game. They will be joined by Fort Wayne Snider sophomore Janaya Cooper, Westville sophomore Hillary Labis, Culver Academy freshman Laine Lyles, Pike freshman Savayah Mitchell Crown Point sophomore Ava Richie, South Bend Saint Joseph freshman Arianna Rowell, Penn freshman Jillian Sanderson and Angola sophomore Kendall VanderWal. 

Hahn, Labis and Walls

Players selected for the 2026 South Team are Westfield freshman Lillian Clark, Oak Hill sophomore Brianna Dailey, Marion sophomore Nyomi Hahn, Warren Central sophomore Denaijah Jacobs, Heritage Christian sophomore Riley Johnson, Owen Valley sophomore Aubrey Sparks, East Central sophomore Natalie Stenger, Hamilton Heights freshman Riley Suarez, Monrovia sophomore Zoie Walls, Center Grove sophomore Haley Wagoner, Indianapolis Cathedral sophomore Caroline Wiggins and Mt. Vernon (Fortville) sophomore Zoey Wood.

Cooper, Hahn, Johnson, Labis, Noll, Perigo, Wiggins and Wood all played in the 2025 girls’ Futures Game, where the North prevailed 106-92. Cooper totaled 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists for the North en route to being selected game MVP. 

Hahn tallied 18 points, Noll added 13 points and Labis chipped in eight points for the winners. Wood netted nine points while Johnson and Wiggins each five points for the South. Hahn moves from the 2025 North Team to the 2026 South Team.

Keith Hollins of Pike is head coach of the North Team. He will be assisted by Kelly Kratz of Valparaiso. Kevin Stuckmeyer of Class 4A state champion Center Grove is head coach of the South Team. He will be assisted by Amy Selk of Beech Grove.

Hollins is 61-42 in four seasons at Pike, including a 24-2 mark and a sectional title this past season. Kratz is 82-48 in five seasons as a head coach, including 42-11 the past two seasons at Valparaiso. Stuckmeyer is 187-49 in nine seasons with the Center Grove girls, including a perfect 29-0 ledger in 2025-26. Selk is 53-61 in five seasons at Beech Grove. 

Hollins and Stuckmeyer each was a 2026 IBCA district Coach of the Year.

Players and coaches for the All-Star Futures Games are selected by a Futures Games committee co-chaired by Broughton and Bill Zych, a retired coach who amassed a 478-375 record over 37 seasons while a head coach at Winamac, Rensselaer Central, Jay County, Center Grove, Shelbyville, Perry Meridian, Pike and Southport.

The North leads 2-1 in girls’ Futures Games history, while the South boys lead 2-1 in their series with the North. The North won 73-63 the inaugural girls’ game in 2023, but the South girls prevailed 95-86 in 2024. Talia Harris of Fishers was the 2023 game MVP, and Lola Lampley of Lawrence Central was the 2024 game MVP. 

In boys Futures Games, the South won the first two contests (100-96 in 2023, 116-113 in 2024) before the North claimed a 123-113 decision in 2025. Past boys’ MVPs were Flory Bidunga in 2023, Jaylan Mitchell of Evansville Reitz in 2024 and Amarian Leggett of Blackford in 2025. 

The Indiana All-Stars program was founded in 1939 when the Indiana boys’ All-Stars played the state champion Frankfort Hot Dogs. The All-Star series with Kentucky began in 1940, and the girls’ portion of the All-Stars was added in 1976. The Junior All-Stars, boys and girls, were added in 1996. The Futures Games doubleheader was added in 2023.            

The Indiana portion of the All-Star Games is organized and produced by the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association. The Indianapolis Star, with its IndyStar brand, is the title sponsor. Hoosier Shooting Academy is a presenting partner for All-Star week. Energy Systems Group is a presenting partner for the Saturday doubleheader against Kentucky.
