(8-15-17) The first AP Indiana High School Football Poll finds Adams Central in the Class A Top 10 at #4 with 252 points. County rival South Adams is just outside the Top 10 with 22 points at #15.

Opening week (August 18), Adams Central will be on the road to take NE8 And county rival Bellmont.

South Adams will start the season at Winchester who picked up 6 points in Class 2A and is ranked #20.  The Starfires move down to A after a strong tournament run last season in 2A.
