(9-17-17) This week’s SSN Player of the Week is St. Henry’s Ryan Bruening.  (Sr 5’9 150lb WR/DB).

Bruening played well on offense, defense and special teams in the Redskins 41-8 win over Parkway.

Bruening had two catches for 77 yards, including a 61 yard TD pass from QB Daylon Lange. On defense Bruening ran back an interception for a TD, while on Special Teams he hit five-of-six extra point kicks.

Honorable Mention

Adams Central’s Logan Macklin – had 4 total TDs – 2 rushing, 1 receiving, and 1 punt return for a score,  he rushed for 122 yards on just 5 carries. The Flying Jets beat Heritage 49-14.

Celina’s Kole Murlin –  rushed 6 times for 90 yards, including a 64 yard TD run. Murlin added a catch for 21 yards and was 7 of 7 on extra point kicks.

Coldwater’s Jacob Wenning – had 4 catches for 112 yards, in including 3 TD (41, 7, and yards) receptions in the Cavs 33-7 MAC win over Ft. Recovery.

Marion Local’s Nathan Bruns – was 15 of 27 passing for 227 yards and added 49 yards on 6 carries in the Flyers 21-7 win over Minster in a key MAC match-up.
