(10-14-17) Defiance won both WBL Cross Country titles in impressive style, the girls beat 2nd place Celina 20-102, while the boys beat 2nd place Van Wert 18-56.
GIRLS
Defiance’s Sophomore Shay Soukup was the individual WBL champion winning in a time of 19:54.53, followed closely by two teammates Katie Crites (19:55.53) in 2nd and Ashley Weidenhamer (19:56.17) in 3rd.
Laauren Jackson led Celina with an 11th place finish in 21:09.51.

BOYS
Just like the girls, the Defiance boys went 1-2-3, led by Senior Hayden Howerton with a WBL title time of 16:96.65, Mhalicki Bronson (16:23.54) was 2nd and Bryce Mendenall (16:23.63) in 3rd.
Celina was led by Ethan Ly who finished 9th (17:28.95) and Hunter Lynch (17:37.18) who was 12th.
