Wings N Wheels

The Wings N Wheels hockey ministry is gearing up for its 16th season, and registrations are now open. The Celina-based program started in 2001 and has grown to about 200 inline hockey players ages 5 to adult.

Wings N Wheels features a sport court surface and dasherboard rink system. The program operates inside BreakAway Rec Plex on U.S. 127 in Celina.

A parent and player meeting will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 22, at Romer’s Hall in Celina. Player equipment will be available for free season rental at the meeting.

Hockey camp starts in early November and runs through mid-November. Team practices start in late November. The season lasts through the end of February.

There are four youth divisions, from K-12, as well as an adult league.

Although Wings N Wheels is a ministry of Aletheia Christian Church, Celina, it is open to anybody regardless of religion or church affiliation. Registration is $115 per player. Scholarships, assistance and arrangements are available.
