(12-3-17) – Wake Forest, who has won 30 in a row, will be making its fifth trip in eight seasons to the North Carolina State AAA Football Championship game, all that stands in their way to ending the season as the #1 ranked team in the SSN National Public HS Rankings is Mallard Creek, which recently won three consecutive titles in 2013, 2014 and 2015.
Making the biggest move of the week is Martinsburg, who beat Spring Valley 44-16 in the State AAA Championship game, they move from #10 to #7. The Bulldogs have won 28 consecutive games in a row and six state titles in eight seasons.
