According to a News-Sentinel report a Ft. Wayne Snider girls basketball player’s family has filed a police report with the Fort Wayne Police Department that Snider Girls Basketball Coach Greg Friend allegedly had battered their daughter during a time out last Friday night at Ft. Wayne North Side.

A Fort Wayne Community Schools spokesperson says that they are aware of the allegations and the district is investigating the incident.
FORT WAYNE POLICE BATTERY COMPLAINT:
On 12-20-2017 at approximately 1805 hours (6:05pm) I Officer Wills arrived at (player’s home) in reference to a battery report.
Upon my arrival I spoke with the complainant ############ and her husband ############# who advised me that on 12-15-2017 around 1800 hours there daughter had a basketball game. ####### plays for Snider high school there Daughters name is ########### who is 15 years old. ###### advised that during the game the coach ############# called a timeout because the girls were not playing defense. ############################################# and ############## then ##########################################################. ####### told the coach not to touch her.

I spoke with ######### over the phone because she was not home and she said the same as her mother had described. She also said that it hurt when he hurt her.
