(1-4-18) New Bremen’s Paige Jones (6’1 Senior) was named to the MaxPreps Small High School All-American team, she was also a finalist for the National Player of the Year.

Jones was the Midwest Athletic Conference, district and region Player of the Year. She averaged 7.3 kills, 3.0 digs along with 110 aces, 72 assists, 42 blocks and 3.5 serve receptions per set during the season.
The #1 ranked Cardinals won the 4A State title and were MAC co-Champions during a 28-1 season.
Jones will play at Big 10 Michigan next season.
Two other Stateline area players picked up All-American honors, Jonni Parker (5’11 Senior) of Miami East was also named to the 1st team, while Ada’s Melina Woods (5’11 Senior) picked up 2nd team honors.

Parker led the Vikings with 449 kills, 315 assists and 153 aces, fifth in state history for aces in a single season. Parker has signed to play with Penn State.

Woods in 80 sets had 665 kills (8.3), averaged 4.0 digs and 4.7 serve receptions per set, 38 aces and 67 blocks.
Woods has signed to play at Canisius.
