(1-8-18) Dugger’s Autumn Everson lit up the score board tonight scoring 51 points (school record) in a 87-41 win over Palestine (Ill) tonight.
Everson had a big night behind the arc hitting 9 3-point FGs (another school record) with 12 steals (just missed setting the record which is 15).
Head Girls Basketball Coach and Athletic Director Joe Pigg:
Autumn deserves everything she gets as hard as she plays. It’s fun as a coach to see kids that play that hard get rewarded for their effort. She was all over the floor tonight. She was just on tonight. It’s also nice when you have a whole group of kids (teammates) that were rooting for her to break the scoring record.
How she broke the record:
- 12 of 14 – 2pt FG – 86%
- 9 of 14 on 3pt FG – 64%
- 21 of 28 total – 75%
