(1-8-18) No big changes in the SSN National Public HS Girls Basketball Rankings this week.
Mercer County continues at the #1 spot for the 2nd week in a row, thanks to a win over Jeffersonville (Ind) in the Kentucky-Indiana Challenge 60-53 this past week.
The only change this week sees Winter Haven drop from #6 to #10 after surviving an upset bid by Nease 60-56 in OT. The loss moves up from teams one spot Las Cruces, Eagle, North Allegheny and Newark.
The Top 5 remain in place, Hoover at #2, Edwardsville at #3, #4 Eastview and #5 Riverdale.

Riverdale is the only girls team that has been in every SSN ranking since the start of last season.
This week Las Cruces is the only school ever to have both its boys and girls basketball teams ranked in the Top 10 in the same week, both teams are undefeated.
