Springfield (Ohio) High School football star Caleb Johnson (18) is being charged with aggravated robbery, two counts of failure to comply with a police officer and a single count of improperly handling a firearm in a vehicle. Six other teens involved in the robbery are being charged as juveniles (ages 15, 16, 16 and 17).
The Springfield seven were apprehended after a robbery of a Springfield AT&T store when their car crashed attempting to get away. The seven are also being considered for other robberies around the area, including Huber Heights at various mobile telephone stores.

Johnson, who transferred to Springfield last season from Trotwood-Madison, had an outstanding career as a wide receiver and earned All-Ohio Division I football honors in 2017. Johnson, who was being recruited by DI schools, was scheduled to make a campus visit to Eastern Kentucky University this past weekend.
