(7-4-18) It was a tough night on the road for the Champion City Kings at West Virginia losing to the Miners 8-5 in Prospect League action.

The Miners picked up 4 of their runs in the 1st inning off of Ohio State’s Seth Lonsway in the 1st inning.  On the night the Celina native went 2 innings giving up 4 hits, 4 runs (1 unearned), 2 walks, 2 strike outs.

Damon Dues (son of Trent Dues) was 0-1 as a pinch hitter.

The Kings drop to 11-14 on the year, West Virginia is now 19-11.
