Nathan Bruns UF

(7-5-18) The University of Findlay has a commitment from one of the top basketball players in Northwest Ohio, Marion Local’s Nathan Bruns. The 6’5 Bruns, who is also a highly thought of QB, also had several D I basketball opportunities, including Toledo.

Bruns knows all about winning and what it takes to be a champion, he was a key part of two Flyer State Championships in football and basketball this past school year. The bloodline adds to what has made him a top rated athlete, Bruns’ brother Ryan, who will be a Senior at Ohio Northern next year, has had a record breaking career for the Polar Bears.

Over the years the Oilers have recruited many top Midwest Athletic Conference players, thanks to connections to former head coaches,  St. Henry native Ron Niekamp and  current head coach Charlie Ernst who is from Minster.
