(7-18-18) New OHSAA Executive Director Jerry Snodgrass has only been in charge since July 1st, but he is already moving forward to improve the state association. The new non-interscholastic participation that has been implemented is receiving praise for the OHSAA golf community.
When I said the advancement of @Jerry_Snodgrass in the OHSAA was a good thing for golf, I meant it.
This is great news for the top players in Ohio.
Thank you, from a ton of people, @john_moldovan https://t.co/gWrtqOjbXY

John Moldovan, who is the father of 2020 Uniontown golfer Maxwell Moldovan, who won the DI OHSAA individual title in 2017, shot a final round, 4-under 68 for a 36-hole total of even 144 and win the title by 3-shots, the lowest in Division I tournament history on the Scarlet Course.

Extremely proud to be part of OHSAA stepping out of the Stone Age. Ohio Junior Golfers no longer have to choose between HS Golf and prestigious Invitationals. No more holding back the best players in Ohio!
Snodgrass has hit the ground running in his new position, he is very responsive to concerns of what is taking place in the association. He is very good at responding to twitter when he is asked a question or a situation facing the membership.
Great question – District Athletic Boards formulate these and they are due to us at the OHSAA in August. https://t.co/5v7qztgpjo

The new OHSAA leadership is a ‘breath of fresh air’.
