(1-23-19) – Versailles High School sophomore Trevor Huber (16) died Tuesday evening following a Sunday afternoon all-terrain vehicle accident (ATV) near Frenchtown.

Huber was a member of the Versailles High School wrestling team and the Versailles FFA.
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office reported that Huber was riding a 2007 Polaris 500 four wheeler on Sunday and was traveling southbound on Mangen Road when the ATV traveled into the ditch, overturning and pinning Huber underneath it. Huber was transported by Careflight to Miami Valley Hospital following the crash.

Trevor Robert Huber, 16 year old son of Keith & Cathy (Staugler) Huber of New Weston, died Tuesday January 22, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton following an accident.
He was born October 7, 2002 in Sidney. He is survived by siblings Terra, Trina, Trey & Trent; grandparents Ernie & Rita Staugler of Coldwater; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert & Dorothy Huber.
Trevor was a sophomore at Versailles High School where he participated in Wresting, Baseball and FFA. He was a member of St. Louis Church in North Star and the youth ministry at the church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Monday, January 28, 2019 at St. Louis Church with Fr. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow in St. Louis Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in St. Henry from 1 to 6 pm Sunday and at St. Louis Church from 9 to 10 am Monday. Condolences may be left at hogenkampfh.com.
