(3-4-19) Parkway will hire 29-year-old Joel Henkle as their new head football coach, pending Board of Education approval at their March 12th meeting. Henkle will become the fourth head coach in five years.
Henkle is a 2008 graduate of Parkway and received varsity letters in football (3) and baseball (2). Upon graduation, he majored in Risk Management and Insurance at Ball State University and received his Bachelors Degree. After graduation from college, he began working for the family business at Henkle Insurance Agency as an insurance agent. During this time he has coached football at Parkway 4 years at the junior high level and 2 years at the varsity level. He married his wife Kinzie in 2015 and they have two children Breckyn (2) and Graelyn (9 months).
