Assistant Coach Trace Noack summed it up on Facebook after the banquet-
I’m thankful for continuing to get to work with not only excellent athletes but excellent kids (and young adults). I’m thankful for another year of learning from an all time great Amanda Carlson. Thankful to have such a great group of coaches to hang out with and diffuse the stresses that are involved with coaching high school sports (Anson Lindsey and Mike Alex). I’m thankful for having the best AD I’ve ever had (Jody Flynn). There’s a lot to be thankful for and a lot to look forward to in the years to come.

Belvidere North won its fourth consecutive NIC 10 title, plus added a Regional and Sectional Championship (1st ever for the Blue Thunder). The season would end just one match short of reaching the state final four losing the 3A Super-Sectional match to Sterling in 3 sets (23-25, 25-15, 28-26) to the eventual State Champion.
