(1-25-20) The Jay County girls swim team and the Bluffton boys swim team won the 2020 ACAC Swim and Dive Championships at the Jay County HS Natatorium.
The Patriot girls edged Bluffton 437-379, while Bluffton won the boys meet beating Jay County 418-276. It was the third consecutive ACAC title for Jay County.
The Jay County girl swimmers/divers finished the night with wins in every event, except the diving, 200 and 500 freestyle. Mara Bader won the 200 IM, Eliza Bader won the 50 free and 100 fly, Ashlyn Dow won the 100 freestyle and 100 breaststroke. Lilli Clemmons won the 100 backstroke. These four teamed with Riley Brewster and Elayna Paro to sweep all three relays.
Bluffton, picked up their sixth straight ACAC swim title and were led by Sophomore Caleb Geimer and Jack Ringger who both won two events.
