(2-26-20) Each year Stateline area conferences name a Boys Basketball Player of the Year, below you will some of them and see why they were selected.
2020 The Best of the Year
Northwest Conference and Putnam County League – Columbus Grove’s Blake Reynolds (Jr, 6’4) was named NWC and Putnam County League Player of the Year for the 22-0 Bulldogs. Reynolds averaged 16.8 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.

Western Buckeye League – Shawnee’s George Mangas (Jr 6’3) led the Indians to their first undefeated regular season since 1965 and1966 and a WBL title.

Midwest Athletic Conference – Versailles’ Michael Stammen (Sr) led the Tigers to an undefeated MAC title, averaged 18 points a game (including 41 3’s), led the MAC shooting 80% at the free throw line, led the MAC in assists
Blanchard Valley Conference – Arlington’s Jaret Vermillion (Sr 5’9) led Arlington to a co-BVC title, led the BVC in 3-point accuracy at 43% (63 of 146), was second in scoring (19.9), assists (4.9) and free throw percentage (104 of 126, 82.5 percent)

Northwest Central Conference – Upper Scioto Valley’s Quinn Sanders (Sr 6’4) averaged 29.8 points, 12 rebounds and 4.3 blocked shot in NWCC play
Three Rivers Athletic Conference – Lima Senior’s Josiah Fulcher (Sr 6’2) led the Spartans to an undefeated conference title going 14-0. Last year he was the TRAC Co-Player of the Year, he played at Pickerington Central as a freshman and sophomore.

Shelby County Athletic League – Jackson Center’s Aidan Reichert (Jr) led the Tigers to a 17-5 record and a 2nd place finish in the league with a 9-3 record.
