Final school sponsored gymnastics team in 2005

(3-2-20) The Coldwater Gymnastics team had a 30 year run before being eliminated as a varsity sport after the 2005 season. Looking back the change came when two area schools dropped their programs earlier, Columbus Grove and Delphos St. John’s.

Coach Jane Diller had built a solid program, but the absence of nearby opponents and funding would finally be the demise of the program at Coldwater.

Girls Gymnastics in Ohio…OHSAA individual champions have been crowned since 1973, with team champions being named since 1977, this past weekend Ohio powerhouse Brecksville picked up the 2020 Girls State title.
