(3-2-20) A teenage Dunbar High School football player was in juvenile court today for a probable cause hearing, but will now have to wait to hear the ruling of Judge Helen Wallace on the situation.
The hearing was to see if the player will have to appear in adult court after being accused of headbutting a referee during the second quarter of a football game on August 31st with Roger Bacon. The count being considered is felonious assault causing serious physical harm to a game official
Both the prosecution and defense agreed that there is probable cause to move the case to adult court.

No official statements from the Ohio High School Athletic Association has been made since the incident took place, with no acknowledgement of a penalty against the player or Dunbar.
