(4-1-20) Mike Piatt’s stay at New Knoxville lasted two seasons, today the New Knoxville schools posted the head boys basketball coaching job.
Last season the Rangers went 0-9 in the MAC, 2-12 overall, in 2019 they were 0-9 in conference and 3-20.

New Knoxville High School is seeking a qualified and experienced Head Boy’s Basketball Coach. Previous coaching experience at the high school level or as an assistant is preferred. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to develop a strong, cohesive program that focus’ on developing skills that go beyond game of basketball. A full-time teaching or other position may be available with the coaching position depending on the needs of the district and licensure/certification of the candidate. Potential teaching positions include HS Science. Last Friday it was also announced that Wapakoneta will be looking for a new head Basketball coach.
Doug Davis resigned after five seasons leading the Redskins, during that time he had an overall record of 72-48, including a 21-win season in 2016-17. This year the Redskins went 3-6 in the WBL 8-16 overall. In the past he coached at Bath and Delphos Jefferson. He has a 254-216 career record, including trips to the Regional Finals twice during his nine year stay at Bath
