(6-12-20) Coldwater Head Football Coach Chip Otten as he has been selected to the 2021 class of the Ohio High School Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
Otten will be inducted at the OHSFCA banquet on June 11th, 2021 in Columbus. He will join John Reed as the only Coldwater football coaches selected to the Hall of Fame.
In his 10 years as Coldwaters head coach, Otten has compiled a record of 119-23 placing him 2nd on the All Time win list for Coldwater (John Reed has a 161-38 record). Otten has three MAC football championships (2012, 2015, and 2016), four State Championships (2012, 13, 14, and 15) to go along with three State Runner Ups trophies (2010, 11, 16). Coldwater has gone to the playoff all 10 years as head coach.
Otten is a graduate of Coldwater High School and was previous head football coach at Middletown High School.
