But after your hear Izaiah’s story it is even a more special story. Yesterday in a David Woods indystar.com story you find out how he landed in northeast Indiana in Angola after a life in Africa.

Four years ago, the running he did was to chase sheep and goats in the highlands of East Africa. He threw rocks at hyenas to protect livestock belonging to his family.

He was a shepherd at  age 5.

He grew up in a mud hut without electricity or telephone. He shared a bed with a goat, and in the morning he had to clean off the goat pellets.

After reading about Izaiah’s life…you will already see that no matter what happens in cross country…he is already a winner. Yes, it would make a great movie.
