(11-25-20) The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department voted 8 to 1 this morning morning to close all schools in the county and must comply by Dec. 4th at 4 p.m. to in-person learning and athletics.

The resolution (see below) requires educational institutions to practice all-remote learning for grades 7-12 and suspend all of their athletic and extracurricular activities until Jan. 11th. Grades K-6 are permitted to continue in-person learning.
In-person operations will be allowed for exams, religious ceremonies and special needs.
With practice not being allowed in Lucas County until January 11, this likely means no games until at least the week of January 25 (unless by some miracle practices are allowed to resume earlier). If I were in charge of high school sports, I would consider moving winter sports state tournaments into April and pushing spring sports tournaments into late June or even July
