(12-9-20) In 1990 ‘Hoosier Hysteria’ shined in the IHSAA State Boys Basketball Final Game at the Hoosier Dome.

Highlights: The game drew a national high school record crowd of 41,046 which sees Damon Bailey, who scored the last 11 points in the game, leads Bedford North Lawrence to a 63-60 upset of top-ranked and undefeated Concord in the title game. It would be the last of 61 consecutive IHSAA state finals sell-outs. Bailey would end his prep career as the state’s all-time leading scorer with 3,134 points.

The Hoosier Dome hosted the state finals from 1990 to 1999, it hosted the final single-class championship game in 1997 and hosted the first four-class tournament finals in 1998.
