(1-17-21) Marion Local boys and girls basketball teams continue to roll in the Mercer County League. Both teams picked up wins this week over Ft. Recovery.

In the MCL girls standings the Flyers are 6-0, they have one MCL game remaining on February 11th when they travel to Parkway.

The Flyers boys team is 5-1 and has won five straight after an opening league loss to St. Henry. Marion Local has one MCL game left on the schedule when they host Parkway on February 12th.

Why the MCL?

To add a little extra excitement to the high school basketball season SSN again will bring you the Mercer County League.

The first year SSN introduced the (mythical) MCL was in 2018-19.

All six Mercer County high schools are included, actual head to head match-ups between the schools that will determine a MCL champion in both boys and girls basketball.
