(4-25-21) Skipp Miller has put Bradford’s softball program on the map in Ohio during her time as a Railroader. The Senior, who has committed to Ohio University, had a week to remember.

She went 3-1 pitching on the week, even looking impressive in that one loss.

Tuesday – vs. Mississinawa Valley Miller threw a no-hitter while striking out 13 and walking just one in a 17-0 5- inning win.

Thursday – vs. Newton in a no-hitter facing 16 batters in a 11-0 win in five innings. All 15 outs came on strikeouts, with one Newton batter reaching base on an error.

Miller can hit too…she went 3-4, 4 RBIs, a double and a home run.

Friday – vs. Houston in a 10-0 perfect game win in six innings. Striking out all 18 hitters she faced.

Saturday – vs. D I state-ranked Miamisburg she gave up two hits and two runs (both unearned) in a 2-0 loss, striking out 14 batters.

On the week she went 23 innings in the circle over four complete games, faced 75 batters, striking out 60, allowing just two hits and no earned runs, while walking one.

In 2018 as a Freshman, Miller registered a 0.70 ERA and 303 strikeouts, she went 23-2 as a starter and hit .549. During that season, Skipp was named first team CCC, first team All-District, first team All-State and CCC Player of the Year.

But the next seasons were lost for Miller…in 2019, her Sophomore year, she tore her ACL during basketball season and was unable to play…add to that in her Junior year she and her teammates was unable to play in 2020 due to the pandemic that wiped out all spring sports in Ohio.

With missing two complete seasons she is having a Senior season to remember.
