(6-7-21) One of the most successful varsity programs at Celina High, swimming, is sending another athlete, Claire Gass, to continue their swimming career in college. Gass recently signed to swim in Florida at Nova Southeastern University.

Gass has been an Ohio All-State performer several times in her career at Celina. She has been a part of All-Ohio relays teams and has specialized in the breaststroke.and butterfly during her multi-team career.

Nova Southeastern is a NCAA D II school, this past year they finished 8th at the NCAA DII Swimming & Diving Championships in Birmingham, Ala. The Sharks are a member of the Sunshine State Conference.
