UNION CITY, Ind. (9-21-21) – After falling to the Lady Hawks a little over a week ago, the Union City Lady Indians volleyball team got some redemption as they welcomed Mississinawa Valley across the stateline Monday evening.

The Lady Indians battled hard and held off MV to take the stateline rivalry match 3-0.

UC head coach Ashley Gard

“It was nice to get a little redemption tonight. The girls fought hard and were able to win all three sets.”

Union City’s Mariah Claywell was recognized during the game after surpassing not one, but two career milestones. The UC senior recorded her 800th kill and 500th dig during the game.

Coach Gard added –

“It was exciting to see Mariah achieve both of her goals. She plays hard and deserves it.”
