Despite Weather Delays…Kirtland Streak Continues…Moves Up To #2 On National Consecutive Game Winning Streaks

(10-9-21) Kirtland’s Ramon Lescano threw for four touchdowns and ran for a pair, and Gage Sullivan caught two of those and contributed an interception foa TD as Kirtland picked up a lightning delayed win 63-28 win over Lakeside.

What a crazy three hours & 49 minutes!

That’s good enough for the second longest active winning streak in the United States & fourth longest winning streak EVER in Ohio high school football.

Kirtland (7-0) will go for win #49 next Friday against Edgewood (2-6). The Warriors lost to Chagrin Falls 37-0, it was their third consecutive shut-out loss.

#2 Corner Canyon (Utah) (8-1) was knocked off last night by Lone Peak (5-2) 41-16 to stop their streak at 48. Last week #1 Southern Columbia Area’s 65 consecutive game winning streak was ended.
