(2-19-22) The SSN’s All-Mercer County League Basketball team was named.
One thing not lacking on this year’s team is height…four of the five members are 6’4 or higher.
Sophomore Jack Knapke, a member of this year’s MCL Champions Marion Local, was named the Player of the Year. Knapke averaged 12 points a game, shooting 55% from the field and averaged 9 rebounds a game.

- Jack Knapke (6’8 Soph) Marion Local – Player of the Year
This year’s team features two players who were named to the team last year…Parkway’s Caden Slusher and Celina’s Josh Rasawehr. For Slusher it was the 3rd time he was named to the team..
Ft. Recovery had two players named to the 1st team Cale Rammel and Owen Jutte.
