(5-6-22) Despite Mother Nature being in a bad mood all week the Coldwater Athletic Department showed her that they wouldn’t stop for her. With less then ideal weather conditions and many area cancellations the meet went on.

The girls meet was down to the wire and in the end Coldwater and Celina shared the Championship, both ended the meet with a 125 points. While Ft. Recovery finished with a strong 3rd place finish and 93 points.

After this meet we now know why the Marion Local mascot is a ‘Flyer’ as the blue and gold flew by everyone for a convincing 1st place finish with a 171 points, Celina finished in 2nd place with a 101 points.

In the middle school meet the Marion Local girls and boys teams both pick up the championship trophy.
