Celina Grad Named New Houston Boys Basketball Coach

We are excited to announce the addition of Caleb Fledderjohann as head boys basketball coach (pending BOE approval)! Coach Fledderjohann will also be joining us as an intervention specialist.

(5-9-22) Celina grad Caleb Fledderjohann is set to become the new head boys basketball coach at Houston, members of the Shelby County League.

Fledderjohann has been at the Goshen Middle School working in the 8th grade ELA classroom.  He has also been the Assistant Athletic Director for Goshen Local Schools, and the boys junior varsity basketball coach/varsity assistant at Goshen High School. He has also coached boys basketball at the 7th and 8th grade level. 

Former Goshen Head Coach Brandon Baker (taking over the Milford coaching job) had high praise for the new hire –

Fledderjohann replaces Mark Platfoot who has been the head coach since 2017. Houston was 4-20 last season and 1-12 in the Shelby County League.
