(5-10-22) Yesterday Blackhawk Christian Coach Marc Davidson passed away after a battle with cancer. The impact of what his life meant and his love for Jesus has impacted a wide variety of individuals. From his players, his assistant coaches, coaches he coached against, the opponent’s players, officials, the media and many, many more from every walk of life.
As a player and a coach he worked hard to be the best, but he also had a way with everyone he met. They don’t make many like him in the world of sports. He will be missed, especially by his wife and seven children. (wife Lisa and his children– Wesley (and his wife Ashton), William, Frankie, Marcus, Jimmy, Jaela and Isaiah)
While we mourn his loss we also celebrate his new life in the midst of the one he proclaimed everyday…our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
On the Blackhawk Christian web site in his bio he shared this –
It is my ultimate desire to live out 2 Timothy 2:21 which says: he shall be a vessel of honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, and prepared for every good work.
Below you will see just some of the numerous tweets yesterday on Twitter who he impacted. These are just a few of those that we saw…but there are so many more.
