(5-11-22) A longtime Kenton Times Sports Editor, Kendrick Jesionowski and Lisa Lynne Reiss (57) of Marysville were killed in a drowning that occurred at Cowen Lake in Clinton County.
Jesionowski was reported missing on Monday by his son.
The investigation led authorities to discover a vehicle in about 10 feet of water on Tuesday.
The vehicle was pulled from the lake Tuesday evening and two bodies were found inside.
The two were in Clinton County for an event at the World Equestrian Center in Wilmington.
Jesionowski has been a reporter with the Kenton Times for over 20 years.
He has covered mostly sporting events, but he has also covered news around the area.
He leaves behind two sons.
The incident remains under investigation by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office.
