(5-19-22) The NIC 10 will be well represented next weekend at the IHSA State Track 3A Championships at Eastern Illinois (May 27th and 28th).

Hampshire picked up the Sectional team trophy edging out host Huntley 74-72, with two NIC 10 teams up next, Belvidere North in 3rd with 66 points and Rockford East with 54 points.

Belvidere North’s Sophomore star Nico Bertolino will compete in three events at the state meet, the 100m, 200m and a member of the 4×100 relay team, his teammate Tristen Powers (Senior) will also be in three events, the 100m, the long jump and 4×100 relay team.
