1987 Class AA State Champions
(5-20-22) Coldwater Hall of Fame Coach Lou Brunswick had a lot of quality baseball teams, but the 1987 Cavalier Crew might have been the best one.
Coldwater picked up the Class AA State title beating Mason in the title game 22-5, they had 19 hits.

- Current Coldwater Hall of Fame Coach Brian Harlamert was a member of the 1987 team
- Two members of the 1987 team were on the original Grand Lake Mariners team…Dean Mueller and Trent Dues
- Coldwater won Class AA titles in 1983 and 1984, they also won the 1990 Class A title
- In 1988 Coldwater moved from Class AA to Class A
- Parkway won the 1987 Class A State title
