(6-4-22) Lincolnview entered the top of the 7th inning trailing Strasburg-Franklin 3-0, that’s when the Lancers would put on their rally hats to score two runs.

That is when the Lancers had a chance to tie the game with two outs…Ashlyn Price would single to CF that scored Zadira King from 3rd when pinch runner Allie Miller was waved home and would try to score the tying run but she was thrown out at home by CF Maggie Richards. That would end the game and a 3-2 win for Strasburg-Franklin.

Scoring-

Both teams would manage just 5 hits a piece. Amelia Spidell (18-3) would pick up the complete game pitching win striking out 8, walking 2 and both Lancer runs were unearned. Taylor Post (1-3) would be charged with the loss, giving up just 1 earned run striking out 3 and no walks.
