Indiana Junior All Stars Hang On To Beat Kentucky Stars

(6-5-22) Today at Bedford North Lawrence (Indiana) HS the Indiana Junior All Stars knocked off the Kentucky Junior All Stars 92-89. Kentucky made a 4th quarter charge outscoring the Hoosier girls 40-22 but it wasn’t enough.

Indiana was led by RaShunda Jones (South Bend Washington) who had 20 points, with 5 of 6 FGs and 10 of 12 from the free throw line. Amber Tretter (Forest Park) and Saige Stahl (Columbus East) both has 13 points, Karsyn Norman (Bedford North Lawrence) added 12 points and Ashlyn Shade (Noblesville) had 9 points and 12 rebounds..

Kentucky was led by Haven Ford (Rowan County) and Brianna Byers (George Rogers Clark) who both had 18 points and Kensley Feltner (Lawrence County) added 12 points.

Indiana held a large advantage on the boards collecting 58 rebounds, while Kentucky had 45.

The Indiana Junior stars will next play the Indiana Senior All Stars on June 8th, the Kentucky Junior Stars will finish with a 1-1 record.
