(6-12-22) The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association’s (IBCA) high school all-star boys and girls basketball games were played Saturday at Pontiac High School.
In the Class 1A/2A girls basketball game Winnebago’s Miyah Brown was named the North All Star MVP, scoring 13 points, while Rockford Lutheran’s Mikayla Huffine won the Leadership Award. Also playing for the North was Winnebago’s Renee Rittmeyer.
Out of the four IBCA boys and girls high school basketball all star games that were played…only three players from Winnebago County competed.
