(8-2-22) Nine Illinois HS football teams are scrambling to fill in their schedule after a last minute unexpected cancellation.
Yesterday in a tweet Fisher announced they have decided not to play a varsity football schedule due to low numbers. Last season the Bunnies went 1-8.
The class 1A Bunnies are members of the Heart of Illinois (Small) Conference, which is now left with just four members.
They hope to be able to play a JV schedule.
