Coldwater To Name Cory Klenke As Next Varsity Baseball Coach Pending BOE Approval

(10-24-22) The Coldwater Athletic Department announced today that Cory Klenke will be named the next Varsity Baseball Coach pending BOE approval. 

Coach Klenke has served as the top Assistant Coach under Hall-of-Fame Coach Brian Harlamert over the past several years.  Coach Klenke was an assistant coach on the Varsity Baseball teams that captured the 2014 & 2019 State Championships and also finished as State Runner-Up in 2018.  The Cavs won 7 MAC Titles during his tenure as an assistant at Coldwater.  Coach Klenke was a 4-year starter as a player for the Cavaliers prior to playing at Miami University (Ohio). 

Currently, Coach Klenke is also an assistant football coach for the Cavaliers and is a High School Math Teacher. 

Cory and his wife, Samantha, live here in Coldwater with their 4 children.

Coach Klenke will take over for long-time Coldwater Hall-of-Fame baseball Coach Brian Harlamert who passed away unexpectedly this fall.
