New Bath Head Football Coach Named

Pending board approval at the February board meeting, the Bath High School athletic department is excited to announce the appointment of Frank Russell as the new head varsity football coach.

(2-3-23) Today on Twitter Bath announced the pending hiring of a new head football coach. Frank Russell, a long-time assistant coach at both Franklin (as a defensive coordinator) and Colerain High Schools (last season).

• Bath To Non-Renew Head Football Coach

Franklin replaces Ryan Reindel whose contract as head football coach was not renewed. Reindel has been the head coach for the Wildcats for the past four years and ends with a 10-29 career record.

This past season the Wildcats went 0-9 in the WBL and 0-10 for the season.

Coach Frank Russell has 15 years of coaching experience at Franklin and Colerain HS. There will be a Meet The Coach event on Feb 28 at the HS auditorium at 7:00 for team members, parents and community members to hear from the head coach and his plan for the program.
