(5-29-23) Indian Lake softball will make its 1st appearance in school history at the D III State Final 4 in Akron. The Lakers knocked of Miami East 6-0 at Jonathan Alder High School to pick-up the Regional title.

Mackenzie Dixon led the Lakers in the win going 4 for 4 with 4 singles, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored.
Madison Brentlinger pitched a complete game two-hitter, with 3 K’s and no walks for Indian Lake.
Through the tournament Indian Lake has four shutouts in five games and has only allowed 2 runs.

Johnstown advanced to the D III state final 4 by beating Tinora in the Regional final 6-3 at Bucyrus. It will be the 3rd trip to state for the Johnnies and 2nd in the last three seasons.
Johnstown’s 3B Dakota Staffan led the way on offense with two solo home runs… she also had a single 3 RBI’s and scored 3 runs.
Senior pitcher Macy Walters gave up 7 hits, two walks and streuck out 9 to pick up the win.
