(7-5-23) Before moving to the Midwest Athletic Conference in 1973 the Coldwater Cavaliers were members of the Western Buckeye League. The Cavs joined the WBL in 1957-58, in just the third season competing in football in the WBL they went undefeated and won their one and only WBL football championship in 1961.

Coldwater would win their three non-conference games to end the season at 10-0. Four of the ten wins were shut-outs, the defense only gave up double-digit scores twice during the season.

During their stay in the WBL (1959-1973) Coldwater had an overall league record of 30-66-3.

Coldwater joined the WBL during the 1957-58 season, but did not compete in football until 1959.

Pozuric won 109 games during his stay at Coldwater, he also led the Cavs to an undefeated season in 1954
