(8-23-23) Despite temperatures rising in the Stateline area the Mercer County Cross Country Meet was held in Fort Recovery at the Ohio Progressive Sportsman Club. The Ft. Recovery girls and Marion Local boys picked up the Meet championships.

Ft. Recovery outdistanced St. Henry 43-53 to pick-up up the Mercer County Meet girls title..Parkway was a close 3rd with a 58 score.
The Indian girls took the top two spots Natalie Brunswick (Sr) with a time of 20:52.5, while Freshman teammate Makenna Heitkamp was 2nd with a time of 21:18.67.

Marion Local continues its running success in 2023 picking up the Mercer County Meet boys titlle outdistancing Celina 47-63.
The Flyers were led a 5th place finish by Dalton Pohlman and a 6th place finish by Wade Kremer, both Sophomores.
Ft. Recovery’s Trevor Heitkamp was the individual champion with a course time 0f 17:13.34.
