Illinois Independent Conference – Week 1

(8-29-23) Week 1 of the 2023 high school football season is in the books. It was a tough week for the Illinois Independent Conference (IIC) members…going 3-8 in week 1.

SSN’s Illinois Independent Conference

Why the IIC?

To add a little extra excitement for the Illinois high school football teams playing an independent schedule. It is tough being an independent in Illinois.

All 11 Illinois independent high schools are included, Won-Lost records, weekly scores, highlights, all-independent team will be named at the end of the year. The IIC is not an actual conference but it hopes to provided the benefit of one.

This is just a way for SSN to promote these student-athletes. SSN hopes that all the schools will enjoy this during the season.
